Windows vii and 8 - Changing Colours

Windows 8

• To open the Ease of Admission Centre printing 'Windows' logo key +'U'
• On a touch-enabled device, swipe in from the right hand edge of the screen so tap 'Search' and enter Ease of Access in the search box and tap 'Settings' then tap 'Ease of Admission' from the search results.
• Using a mouse move the mouse pointer to the upper correct hand corner of the screen, then move the pointer downwardly to select 'Search' and enter Ease of Admission in the search box and tap 'Settings' then tap 'Ease of Access Centre'
• Under 'Explore all settings', 'Tab' to and 'Enter' or click to select 'Make the computer easier to run into'.

High Contrast Themes

• Click to select or press 'Alt' + 'C' to select 'Fine tune brandish effects' and open the Personalization window
• From this screen yous can select windows themes including the Loftier Dissimilarity Themes.
• Tab to Desktop Background and press the up arrow to select from the provided High Dissimilarity Themes.

Ease of Access folio

You tin can find more settings on the Ease of Access page where y'all can chop-chop plow on High Constrast.

• On a bear upon-enabled device, swipe in from the correct hand edge of the screen then tap 'Search' and enter Ease of Access in the search box and tap 'Settings' then tap 'Ease of Access' from the search results.
• Using a mouse movement the mouse pointer to the upper correct hand corner of the screen, then move the pointer down to select 'Search' and enter Ease of Access in the search box and tap 'Settings' then tap 'Ease of Access'
• Tab to the 'Use high Contrast' slider and press 'Space bar' or the 'Right Pointer' key to turn on 'high contrast'

• Ease of Admission Eye has replaced Accessibility Options in the 'Control Console'.
• Open up 'Ease of Access Center' printing 'Windows' logo key + 'U' or click Start button 'Control Panel' + 'Ease of Admission' + 'Ease of Admission Center'.
• Under 'Explore all settings', 'Tab' to and 'Enter' or click to select 'Make the computer easier to see'. Fig 1.

• To change the Window colour, press 'Alt' + 'L' or click to select 'Color one' and printing 'Alt' + 'O' to select 'Other' to bring up the colour grid,Fig 5.

• Printing 'Alt' + 'B' to select 'Basic colors' and apply the arrow keys, or click to select a color. Printing the 'Spacebar' to select and printing 'Enter' or click 'OK' to return to Appearance, Fig six.

• To alter the color of text, for example the Window text colour, press 'Alt' + 'R' or click to select 'Color' press 'Alt' + 'O' to select 'Other' and open up the colour grid.
• Press 'Alt' + 'B' to select 'Bones colors' and use the pointer keys and printing the 'Spacebar' or click to select a colour.
• Press 'Enter' or click to select 'OK'.

From the Desktop

• You tin too change the windows Colour and Appearance by right clicking anywhere on the desktop and select 'Personalise'.
• From this screen you tin can select windows themes including ease of admission themes, Fig 7 and 8.

• By selecting 'Windows Color' yous can go directly to the screen in Fig 3 to a higher place.

Notation: If this does not work it could be because your reckoner settings cannot be changed due to local IT policies - contact your local It support for further help.
